Abstract

Introduction: We are reporting  a case of familial dysautonomia presenting with bilateral corneal ulcer.
Case report: A 1-year old boy presented with red eye and bilateral corneal ulcer. Diagnosis of familial dysautonomia was made based on "clinical and laboratory data." Conjunctival flap and lateral permanent tarsorrhaphy was done.
Discussion and Conclusions: Local Ophthalmologists and pediatricians should be aware of this presentation of familial dysautonomia.
