Authors
Abstract
In this case-report, we describe aortic valve replacement and CABG in a 50- year old female
patient with Takayasu’s disease and severely calcified ascending aorta without cross
– clamping the aorta or institution of total circulatory arrest. Intra aortic occlusion technique
is explained and the literature is reviewed for different approaches to similar cases.
