Editorial

The advancement of psychiatric education and foundation of several research centers in psychiatry and behavioral sciences and promotion of mental health services throughout the country, resulted to the production of many high-standard psychiatric research works. Therefore, to publish the results of such research projects, and their theoretical and practical implications, a scientific journal with well-defined objectives, domains, and scope is seriously needed. Regarding the importance of communication and sharing our ideas, conceptualizations and research reports with our colleagues in different parts of the world,we decided to publish the journal in English.

Our approach in this journal is multi and inter disciplinary. Therefore, all original manuscripts in the areas of mental health, psychiatry and behavioral sciences, including, clinical psychology, neuropsychology, psychopharmacology and other aspects of
neuroscience, as well as rehabilitation are all welcomed.

The Iranian Journal of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences (IJPBS) is sponsored by Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences Research Center of Mazandaran University of Medical Sciences and Health Services. We are privileged to have the support of Iranian Psychiatric
