Journal Description
Journal of Applied Psychology for Health Promotion is an international journal that aims to improve the level of physical and mental health of humans through supporting and guiding researches in the fields of psychology and medicine. It provides a platform for traditional empirical analyses as well as qualitative and/or critically oriented approaches. 
Aims and Scope
The journal seeks submissions that address the interface of psychology and medical and health. Topics include but are not limited to research on Psychology, psychiatry, psychometrics, and counseling with trends related to each in connection with medical sciences, and interdisciplinary studies related to psychological issues in various fields.   
This journal publishes authoritative articles in the following fields: 
•    Links between mental illness and physical symptoms 
•    Changes in the provision of medical and psychological services  
•    Mental disorders, behavioral disorders, mental and emotional disorders, learning and cognitive disorders
•    Using new technologies in the treatment of mental and psychosomatic diseases 
•    New treatment methods and drugs for patients and new psychological treatments 
•    Ethics in medical and psychological services 
•    Interdisciplinary approaches to physical health and psychological services
 

Article types

The journal contains all original articles, reviews,  brief reports, case reports, and letters to the editor in fields of psychology, medicine and health in order to minimize problems and improve human physical and mental health.
