3.5. The Determination of HIV-1 Surveillance Drug-Resistant Mutations
The phylogenetic tree made based on the pol gene nucleotide sequences (1015 bp) of HIV-1 retrieved from plasma specimens of 4 HIV-1-infected infants and those corresponding to various complete genome sequences of HIV-1 obtained from the GenBank. Closed diamonds (♦) show CRF35-AD, closed triangles (▲) show subtype B, closed squares (■) show subtype D, opened diamonds (◊) show subtype A2, closed circles (●) show subtype A1, and closed inverse triangles (▼) show subtype CRF01-AE. The neighbor-joining technique was used for the construction of this phylogenetic. The bootstrap values equal to or greater than 70 obtained after 1000 replicates have been indicated in the figure.
