Aim & Scopes	Iranian Journal of Pharmaceutical Research (IJPR) is a peer-reviewed, multidisciplinary scholarly journal dedicated to the dissemination of high-quality research and the advancement of knowledge in the field of pharmaceutical sciences. The journal is published annually and serves as an international platform for the exchange of scientific findings among researchers, clinicians, and industry professionals. The journal particularly encourages submissions that integrate fundamental science with clinical and industrial applications. The scope of the journal encompasses, but is not limited to, the following areas: Pharmaceutical formulation and advanced drug delivery systems Preformulation and physicochemical characterization of drug substances and dosage forms Industrial pharmacy and pharmaceutical manufacturing sciences Biopharmaceutics and pharmacokinetics Medicinal chemistry and rational drug design Computer-aided drug design and molecular modeling Pharmacology and mechanism-based studies Analytical method development and drug characterization Pharmacognosy, phytochemistry, and bioactive natural products with pharmacological evaluation Clinical pharmacology with a focus on drug-based interventions Drug safety, toxicology, and risk assessment Pharmacoeconomics and health outcomes research Pharmaceutical biotechnology, nanomedicine, and targeted delivery systems
Article Types	The IJPR considers a broad range of manuscript types that contribute to scientific knowledge, critical analysis, and scholarly discourse in the field. Submissions must demonstrate scientific rigor, methodological soundness, and relevance to the journal’s scope. The following categories of manuscripts are accepted: Original Research Articles Full-length reports of original experimental or theoretical research that provide significant and novel findings in pharmaceutical sciences. Manuscripts should present clearly defined objectives, robust methodology, and comprehensive analysis of results. Review Articles Comprehensive and critical evaluations of existing literature in specific areas of pharmaceutical sciences. Reviews should provide insightful analysis, identify gaps in current knowledge, and propose future research directions. Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses Studies that employ structured and transparent methodologies to systematically collect, evaluate, and synthesize existing research findings. Meta-analyses should include appropriate statistical techniques to combine data from multiple studies. Letters to the Editor Scholarly communications that discuss, critique, or provide additional insights into articles previously published in the journal. Letters should be concise, evidence-based, and contribute constructively to academic discussion. General Submission Considerations All submitted manuscripts must be original, not previously published, and not under consideration for publication elsewhere. Submissions are subject to a rigorous peer-review process to ensure the quality, validity, and relevance of the published content.
