Aim & scope

Interventional Pain Medicine and Neuromodulation is a multi-disciplinary, peer-reviewed, continuously published, open access international journal that aims to explore all aspects of interventional pain management procedures and neuromodulation modalities. The journal provides a forum for the publication of high-quality research papers in the field of pain science and its management. IPMN delivers interactive clinical content to clinicians, healthcare professionals, and basic scientists with an interest in interventional pain medicine, pain research, and neuromodulation.
Article types
IPMN publishes clinical and basic science papers relevant to all aspects of pain and its management, including interventional pain practice, minimally invasive procedures, and all aspects of neuromodulation. The journal particularly welcomes all research open-access on surgical therapeutic modalities, including interventional radiology procedures for pain management. IPMN considers high-quality original articles, systematic reviews, meta-analyses, review articles, case reports and series, short communication/short reviews, health economic papers, debates, and consensus statements of clinical relevance to Pain Medicine and neuromodulation. The journal particularly welcomes clinical trials, which are published occasionally.
