Aim & Scopes

Aims and Scope

Journal of Advanced Immunopharmacology is an interdisciplinary journal dedicated to publishing high-quality research on the pharmacological modulation of immune responses and the development of innovative therapeutic strategies for immune-mediated diseases. The journal welcomes basic, translational, preclinical, clinical, and public health-oriented studies that advance understanding of immunological mechanisms, immunomodulatory agents, and their applications in disease prevention, treatment, and immune system regulation.

The journal’s scope includes, but is not limited to:

  1. Immunopharmacology

Studies on the development, mechanisms of action, efficacy, safety, and clinical relevance of immunomodulatory drugs, biologics, and therapeutic approaches.

  2. Immunological Mechanisms

Research on immune cell interactions, cytokine signaling, inflammatory pathways, immune regulation, tolerance, activation, suppression, and mechanisms underlying immune-mediated disease.

  3. Pharmacological Interventions

Investigations of pharmacological agents used to modulate immune responses in autoimmune diseases, inflammatory disorders, infections, cancer, transplantation, allergy, and other immune-related conditions.

  4. Translational Immunopharmacology

Studies that connect basic immunology, experimental pharmacology, and clinical application, with emphasis on converting mechanistic discoveries into effective therapeutic strategies.

  5. Therapeutic Strategies and Emerging Modalities

Research on novel immune-targeted treatments, including monoclonal antibodies, checkpoint inhibitors, vaccines, cytokine-based therapies, gene therapies, cell therapies, and other advanced modalities.

  6. Drug Discovery and Development

Studies on the discovery, design, optimization, pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, pharmacogenomics, efficacy, toxicity, and safety profiles of new immunomodulatory agents in preclinical and clinical settings.

  7. Cancer Immunotherapy

Research on immune-based approaches to cancer treatment, including tumor immunity, immune checkpoint modulation, adoptive cell therapy, cancer vaccines, resistance mechanisms, biomarkers, and combination therapies.

  8. Vaccines, Infectious Diseases, and Global Health

Studies on vaccine development, immune protection, infectious disease treatment, host-pathogen interactions, antimicrobial immune modulation, and the public health impact of immunopharmacological interventions.

  9. Public Health and Clinical Implementation

Research evaluating the population-level, ethical, safety, access, implementation, and real-world impact of immunopharmacological therapies in diverse healthcare and global health contexts.
