تعلیق سه مجله از انتشارات Karger از ISI

طبق لیست اعلامی مجلات تعلیق شده از سوی موسسه ISI (لینک) سه مجله از انتشارات کاگر Karger  به دلیل ارجاعات بالا یا Citation Stacking تا اطلاع ثانوی تعلیق شدند.

Note on the Journal Impact Factor (JIF) 2017
Clarivate Analytics has not released a Journal Impact Factor (JIF) for the journals Digestive Diseases, Oncology and Liver Cancer for the year 2017. The decision was made based on a specific citation pattern called “citation stacking”. Special issues published in Digestive Diseases and Oncology in 2017 were focusing on hepatocellular carcinoma. The articles from these special issues were citing articles published in Liver Cancer, the only journal dedicated in the field.

The proportion of the citations to Liver Cancer coming from these articles in relation to the total amount of citations has exceeded the threshold set by Clarivate Analytics for releasing the JIF 2017. We will take the best available measures required to avoid a recurrence of such an event.

Meanwhile, Digestive Diseases, Oncology, and Liver Cancer remain indexed in Clarivate’s Science Citation Index Expanded. We are expecting a positive outcome of the re-evaluation of the three journals, which will take place in March 2019.
