The JCMA accepts various article types that contribute to advancing knowledge in cellular and molecular anesthesiology.

1. Original Research Articles: High-quality studies presenting novel findings in cellular and molecular aspects of anesthesiology and perioperative medicine.
2. Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses: Structured reviews and quantitative analyses that synthesize existing research to provide comprehensive insights into specific topics in anesthesiology.
3. Review Articles: Narrative reviews offering a critical analysis of recent advancements in cellular and molecular anesthesia.
4. Translational Studies: Research bridging laboratory findings and clinical applications in anesthesiology.
5. Bench-to-Bedside Reports: Studies translating basic science into therapeutic advancements or clinical strategies.
6. Case Reports: Unique clinical case studies that provide insights into anesthetic mechanisms or perioperative challenges.
7. Short Communications: Concise reports on preliminary findings or innovative ideas in molecular and cellular anesthesia.
8. Letters to the Editor: Discussions or critiques of articles published in the journal or brief observations related to the journal’s scope.
9. Editorials: Expert opinions or perspectives on relevant topics in anesthesiology and perioperative medicine.
10. Methodological Papers: Descriptions of new techniques, methods, or tools relevant to cellular and molecular anesthesia.

This journal employs a rigorous peer review process to ensure the quality and integrity of published research. The journal offers two peer review methods. Reviewers and authors can choose their preferred review model during submission:

• Double-Blind Peer Review System (where both authors and reviewers remain anonymous to each other)
• Open Peer Review (since Aug 2019, which provides transparency by publishing the reviewers’ comments alongside the article), Show List of All Published Reviewers' Comments

The JCMA follows an open-access model, allowing free and immediate online access to all articles upon publication. Authors are required to pay Article Processing Charges (APC) upon acceptance of their articles.
