Effect of Family-Centered Empowerment Model on the life style of patients with hypertension

Abstract Aim:hypertension is on of the current,choronic and returning diseases. The lifestyle is one of the main factors influencing on the disease development and prenotification.regarding important of the family member's cooperation in hypertention,this stady aims to determine the effect of the family –centered empowerment modle on the lifestyle of patient with hypertention. Methods: this clinical trial study accomplished on the 67refrence patients to Qaen therapeutic sanitary centers. Having selected the permitted samples to the study,the participants are divided in to two group randomly of control (35people)and experimental(32people).family-centered empowerment model accomplished for experiment group in four aspect of perceived threat (severity and sensitivity), self-efficacy, educational partnership and evaluation and usual care was done for control group members. The research tools were demographic, lifestyle questionnaire.t test, indepented,vicalson and umanvitny are used for data analysis. Results: There were no significant difference between two groups in demographic data (p>0.05). befor intervention two groups were the same in all amount for all lifestyle dimention (p>0.05) but after the intervention,there was significant difference between whole lifestyle and the majority of the dimention. (p<0.001) except Smoke using (p=0.05). Conclusion: Performing family-centered empowerment model for patients with hypertention is practically feasible and it can be associated with improvement or modification of patients their families’ lifestyle.
