Abstract

Some patients are complaining in the responds to gluten containing foods and histological/ serological findings are compatible with celiac disease or wheat allergy. In this occasion, celiac disease and wheat allergy, non-celiac gluten sensitivity (NCGS) is a new finding that has been recognized in the scientific world. Since only gluten as the sole cause of this disorder, the term of non-celiac gluten sensitivity is suggested for this disease. In this study, available information about the symptoms, epidemiology, genetic, serology, histology and pathophysiology findings are reviewed.
