Tako-tsubo Cardiomyopathy or Broken Heart Syndrome
Authors
Abstract
Tako-tsubo cardiomyopathy is a rare but reversible entity that mimics acute myocardial infarction or congestive
heart failure. Its timely recognition is important not only for appropriate treatment of this condition but also to
prevent the disease recurrence and the use of potentially life threatening procedures for comparable conditions.
