Knowledge of students on AIDs in Qazvin University of Medical Sciences
Abstract Determining the AIDS-associated educational requirements for students of medicine and other allied fields is an important stage for planning and improving the degree of knowledge among the students of medical sciences. This study was couducted to assess the degree of knowledge on AIDS among the students of medical sciences. Through a descriptive random sampling study in 2003, 100 students took part in this research. The information was collected by questionnaire. Results indicated that most medical and dentistry students had appropriate knowledge on AIDS whereas the majority of laboratory sciences students shown to have poor knowledge. The data obtained from the present study can be used for developing an education curriculum particularly on laboratory field.
