Revising, Resubmitting and Resuming a Submission

Three situations bring you back to a manuscript you have already started or submitted: a submission you never finished, a manuscript that was rejected but may be sent again, and a revision requested after review. Each works differently.
Submitting a revised manuscript after review
ONLY the corresponding Author can submit a revision.
How to submit a correction?
The Author can submit a revised version of a manuscript.
- Sign in to the journal website > Change your role to Author (in the top-right pane) > click on "Minor or Major Revision."
- Click Submit Revision by Main Corresponding Author.
- When submitting your revision, upload "Revised Manuscript" and "Reply to Reviewers Letter."
- Follow the submission to the end and "Approve it." The message shows that the resubmit process is completed successfully.
Resubmitting a manuscript
What is the "Reply to Reviewer" file?
Authors are able to re-submit a manuscript if the EIC or publisher sends back an article to its author. read more
- Manuscript Sent Back to Author can be found in the "Authorial Area".
- To "Re-submit", Click on its menu.
Note: To Resubmit the manuscript, You MUST be the Corresponding Author.
- In the new window, please pay attention to the revised message of the submission.
- Follow submission to the end till the building Tab and Finish it. The message shows you that the resubmit process is completed successfully.
Resuming an incomplete submission
Incomplete Submissions can be completed via this menu. To do:
- Click the "Incomplete Submissions."
- "Continue" or "Discard" any article.
- Discarding a manuscript will delete it, and you cannot continue or recover it anymore.
