The Ethics Committee of Brieflands is issuing this Expression of Concern regarding the article titled "Comparison of the Efficacy of Three Natural Surfactants (Curosurf, Survanta, and Alveofact) in the Treatment of Respiratory Distress Syndrome Among Neonates: A Randomized Controlled Trial " which was published in the IJ Pediatrics Journal (1).
We have been alerted to potential issues regarding the source of the Alveofact used in the study. This concern was reported to us by a whistleblower via ticket #540087, who provided a detailed analysis and evidence supporting these claims.
In light of this serious concern, we are currently conducting a thorough investigation to determine the validity of these allegations. During this period, readers are advised to interpret the findings of the article with caution.
