Archiving Policy

Last Update: 23 September, 2024 | 17:19

At Brieflands STM Publisher, we are committed to the long-term preservation and accessibility of our published content. To achieve this, we implement a comprehensive archiving policy that ensures all published articles are securely stored and easily retrievable for future use.

Data Storage Format

All published articles are stored in the PMC XML DTD version 3 format within our internal repository and two central databanks. This format is widely recognized and used for maintaining the integrity and structure of digital content.

Full-Text XML Availability

The full-text XML of all Brieflands articles is available for FTP download as a ZIP archive. This feature supports data mining research, allowing researchers to efficiently access and analyze large volumes of content.

Digital Preservation

To ensure the long-term preservation of our published articles, Brieflands deposits its content in several reputable digital archives worldwide, including:

  • PubMed Central: Some of our journals are listed on this widely used platform, ensuring broad accessibility.
  • Portico: A trusted digital preservation service that safeguards our content against potential loss.
  • Link to Permanency of Articles: Our articles are securely stored to ensure their permanence and accessibility for future generations.

By adhering to these practices, Brieflands ensures that its scholarly content remains preserved, accessible, and useful for the global research community.
