Brieflands Advertisement Policy

At Brieflands STM Publisher, we maintain a clear and distinct separation between editorial content and advertisements to uphold the integrity of our publications. The inclusion of advertisements in our journals is completely independent of any editorial decisions, and the presence of an advertisement does not imply an endorsement or recommendation by Brieflands of the advertised product or service.

Advertisement Acceptance Criteria

Brieflands reserves the right to reject any advertisement that does not align with our objectives or that may be deemed inappropriate for our audience. Specifically, we may reject advertisements for the following reasons:

  • Contradiction to Brieflands' Objectives:

Advertisements that conflict with the mission or values of Brieflands will not be accepted.

  • Health Concerns:

Advertisements for products or services that appear to be harmful to health will be rejected.

  • Unclear Identification:

If the advertiser or the product/service being advertised is not clearly identified, the advertisement will not be accepted.

  • Plagiarism:

Any advertisement containing plagiarized text, content, or artwork will be rejected.

  • Inappropriate Content:

Advertisements containing content of a personal, racial, ethnic, sexual orientation, or religious nature will not be permitted.

Right to Withdraw Advertisements

Brieflands retains the right to withdraw any advertisement at any time, even after it has been deployed online. This action can be taken if requested by the Editor-in-Chief (EIC) or the Publisher, particularly if the advertisement is later found to violate our policies or if other concerns arise.

Drug-Specific Advertisements

Brieflands does not allow any drug-specific targeted campaigns linked to a specific article. All drug-specific advertisements must promote the correct and rational use of the drug and must not be misleading. We are committed to ensuring that all health-related advertisements are accurate and responsible.

Advertorial Content and Sponsored Supplements

Brieflands does not accept any content that can be classified as "advertorial" — a blend of editorial and advertising content designed to promote a product or service. Sponsored supplements within our publications must be clearly identified to distinguish them from editorial content.

Complaint Procedures

We take complaints about advertisements seriously. Information on how to submit a complaint concerning an advertisement can be found on our Advertisements page. Our commitment to ethical advertising ensures that all concerns are addressed promptly and in accordance with our policies.

By adhering to these guidelines, Brieflands STM Publisher strives to maintain the highest standards of integrity and transparency in all advertising practices.
