Dear Esteemed Authors and Readers,

We are excited to share with you a pivotal development for the Journal of Microbiota. In a strategic move to enhance our journal's reach and impact, the Journal of Microbiota will now continue its publication in collaboration with our new publisher, Brieflands, and in partnership with Semnan University of Medical Sciences.

Objective: Our mission at the Journal of Microbiota remains steadfast: to serve as a leading platform for the dissemination of groundbreaking research and developments within the broad and dynamic field of microbiota. We are dedicated to offering a comprehensive and multidisciplinary view on the complex roles and effects of microbiota across various domains of science.

Scope: The Journal of Microbiota covers a diverse array of topics and research areas, including:

- Microbiology: Delve into the study of bacteria, viruses, fungi, and parasites, exploring their roles in ecosystems and organisms.  
- Immunology: Examine the interactions between microbiota and the immune system, including implications for health and disease.  
- Biotechnology: Investigate microbiota applications in biotech innovations.  
- Environmental Microbiology: Study microbiota's impact on environmental ecosystems and cycles.  
- Industrial Microbiology: Explore microbiota applications in industrial processes.
